Most teams return to league action this weekend after the Cheshire Cup weekend last time around.
St Helens Town should continue their unbeaten start when they welcome Maine Road Reserves to Ruskin Drive, the visitors are the draw specialists but are still looking for their first win of the season – it will be a big ask for them to get it here.
Another unbeaten side, Lymm Rovers, are also at home and take on mid-table Sandbach Town. With four wins from their five games Rovers have made a brilliant start to the season but Sandbach are a much stronger side this season and have three wins already and pushed leaders St Helens Town hard when they met two weeks ago.
The game of the day takes place in Widnes as two in-form teams go head-to-head as Halton Farnworth Hornets take on Wigan Town. The home side another unbeaten team this season, have made a great start since relegation (as Avon Villa) last season and Wigan who won only two games last season have now won the last three.
Haydock and Hartford meet at Haydock Cricket Club, both sides have struggled for consistency so far this season so this could be a close game.
Bottom side Warrington Rylands Development will be hoping tomorrow is the day they can finally get their first win of the season with Newton-le-Willows the opposition. The visitors beat them 2-1 a few weeks ago so it will be another close game.
Stretford Paddock are in Cheshire Cup action as they travel to Manchester to take on Boothstown U21 Bullets.
