The second weekend of the 24/25 season saw the pre-season favourites both record victories and only two teams remain with 100% records!

Lymm Rovers continued their perfect start with a 4-2 victory over an improving Wigan Towm team – four different goalscorers, Christopherson, Quarmby, Scanlan and Smith securing the win.

The other side tipped for promotion Stretford Paddock gave new boys Warrington Rylands Development a harsh introduction to Cheshire League life with a 4-1 victory including a brace from Michael Taylor.

Hartford have made an impressive start after struggling last season. They maintained their 100% record with a 1-0 victory over Newton-Le-Willows.

Another side who struggled last season but have made a strong start is Sandbach Town. They beat Haydock FC 3-2 thanks to goals from Mohammed Zadeh (2) and Matthew Shenton.

Newton Atheltic missed the chance to go top after their 2-2 draw with Mersey Valley.
